The Entrepeneur PrizeXXI is the award of reference for startups in Spain and a decisive initiative for boosting the best entrepeneurial projects of the country. 95 businesses participated in Catalunya.
CEO Laura Soucek was extremely pleased to be awarded this latest prestigious prize, commenting that “this is great recognition for what we are doing at Peptomyc”. Laura added that winning this time had taken her by surprise because of the “stiff competition from successful startups in all sectors, not restricted to healthcare”.
The prize incudes a donation of 5000 euros and a grant to participate in an international course in business growth – Ignite Fast Track – at the University of Cambridge.
The award is driven by CaixaBank through Caixa Capital Risc, and co-funded through the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness and is now in its 11th year. It is another impressive achievement in Peptomyc’s growing list of prizes and awards.
Commenting on being the only woman among all the finalists, Laura added “I am absolutely thrilled and honored to have received this Entrepreneur Prize – especially on the eve of today’s International Women’s Day.”
